The problem

WordPress needs updating, but an update done blindly can break the layout or the checkout. Without verified backups and monitoring, problems surface when it’s too late: a slow site, spam, malware, or offline at the worst moment. Handling all this yourself takes time away from your real work.

My solution

Proactive maintenance, not “call me when it breaks”. I manage updates methodically, keep an eye on security and uptime with automated and manual checks, and send you a readable report. A single contact who knows WordPress inside out.

What’s included

  • Controlled updates of core, plugins and themes, on a regular schedule and promptly in case of known vulnerabilities: it’s the most important thing, and one too many agencies neglect.
  • The main premium licenses included: the most common paid components (multilingual, page builder, GDPR management, custom fields, premium themes) are already included and kept updated, so you don’t have to buy them separately. I also update the premium tools you provide.
  • 12 hours of support per year (roughly 9 for updates and 3 for small routine requests: bug fixes, corrections on existing pages, domain needs), without invoicing you for every 15 minute request. A site restyle stays separate.
  • A double monitoring system that checks the site is online and with a valid SSL certificate.
  • Manual security checks on a fixed schedule: suspicious users added, admin changes, plugins left unupdated for too long, plus a check of frontend, backend and Wordfence.
  • Security with Wordfence and prompt intervention if vulnerabilities are reported.
  • Backup restore in case of problems (the backup is provided by the site’s hosting).
  • Priority and often proactive response: in most cases I step in before the problem reaches you.
  • WooCommerce checks: that cart, payments and checkout always work.
  • Periodic report of what was done, in Italian, German or English.

  1. Initial audit: I photograph the state of the site (security, performance, pending updates).
  2. I secure it: backups, hardening and updates under control.
  3. Ongoing plan: from there the site stays cared for and monitored, with a periodic report.

Price

Base plan from €800/year for end clients, with an initial audit and 12 hours of support per year. Taken as a plan, those hours cost less than booking the same time as separate jobs, and the site gets continuous care instead of one-off fixes. The price scales with the site (WooCommerce, number of plugins, complexity) and often bundles with hosting as a single management package.

With backups and monitoring I step in to restore and secure it. Support in these cases is included in the plans.

<strong>How many hours are included?</strong>

The base plan includes 12 hours per year. Small interventions fall within them; bigger work (new features, restyling) is quoted separately.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. Contracts are annual with automatic renewal, but if you are not satisfied with the service, you can cancel at any time.

Do you handle sites you didn't build?

Yes, after the initial audit I take on existing sites too.
